India's defence research organization launches performance enhancing drug for high-altitude areas

A composite herbal formulation named ‘Perfomax’ that has been developed by India’s DRDO and has been found to improve physical and mental performance in High Altitude and Hypoxic Conditions at a function held in Leh, Ladakh today. The formulation is rich in antioxidants and other bioactive compounds that improve performance of brain, heart, kidney and lungs and improves blood circulation. The Minister of State for Defence Dr M M Pallam Raju launched the product today.
He also inaugurated a Conference on “Emerging Trends in Food and Health Security in Cold Deserts”, orgainsed by the Leh-bas
