Bosch Siemens launch home appliances in India

The home appliances leader in Europe Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH launched of the Bosch range of home appliances in India. The initial launch includes a range of washing machines, dryers and dishwashers. On occasion of the launch, Marc Hantscher, MD & CEO, BSH India said, "Bosch home appliances will be available across India by mid-2012." HTC unveils news smart phone Rhyme

HTC unveiled new smart phone Rhyme. The Android-powered Rhyme will go on sale in the United States on September 29. It will cost US$199 (S$251) and will be available through Verizon Wireless.
The Rhyme, which runs the latest version of Google's Android software known as Gingerbread, will go on sale in Europe and Asia in October. “HTC Rhyme represents an entirely new approach, based on recognition that there is a substantial group of consumers who want their phones to be more personal and complimentary to every moment of their day,” said Scott Croyle, vice president of design, HTC.

Sony India has launched a new range of 3D Blu-ray Home Theatre Systems: BDV-E980 and BDV-E880 and Blu-ray player BDP-S380 that uses advanced 3D Blu-ray technology to deliver highly superior audio-visual experience. BDV-E980 and BDV-E880 come with four and two tall boy speakers respectively, that covers a wider listening area to give cinema like surround sound.

Sony cuts PlayStation3 prices by 15 percent to give boost during festive season

In line with global announcement Sony has cuts prices of PlayStation 3 by 15 percent. Atindriya Bose, Country Manager, said, "India is an integral part of PlayStation business growth and we are happy to synchronise the price drop in India with the global price drop. It also provides an additional opportunity to really become an attractive proposition during the festive season."
The PS3 320 GB with the PS Move Starter pack bundle will now cost Rs 19,990 whereas 160 GB PS3 will be available at Rs 16,990.
